One of the best ways to set yourself apart as a warehouse employee, is to receive training and become a CERTIFIED forklift operator. Many people can operate a forklift, but not all of them are certified. Hiring managers at warehouses prefer certified forklift operators due to liability reasons. Having properly trained forklift operators lessens the likelihood of accidents in the workplace.
